| | How to completely disable UAC? I think I've disabled this three times already. However, after a little time, I get the stupid UAC popup every time I try to do something. The latest is after Vista downloaded and installed updates than rebooted. Is there a way to kill this thing completely? Thanks, Brett |

| | Re: How to completely disable UAC? How did you disabled it? The standard procedure is to enter system configuration (start -> Run -> msconfig), go to 'tools' and launch 'Disable UAC'. I've done it a month ago, never seen it again. You possibly have to do that for every account though... | | RE: How to completely disable UAC? Brett: This worked for me permanently. Click Start, Control Panel\User Accounts and Family Safety\User Accounts Turn User Account Control On or Off Uncheck "Use...", click Ok as many times as needed.
