| | rdp behavior Hi all, When trying to connect from Vista to windows server via rdp, In the 'Log on to' the local computer instead of the domain name. (in XP it worked perfectly). How can I set the default to be connected to the domain? Thanks a lot, Assaf |

| | Re: rdp behavior What if we have servers on multiple domains? Are you saying we have to train all of our users on what server is in what domain? What a great layout M$. | | Re: rdp behavior Uhm, do you have multiple accounts in different domains for users instead of domain trusts? If not, you don't need to teach them different domain names since user domain is what you enter during logon, not server's. By the way, as unrelated tip, you can remove domain drop-down list in logon window on previous versions of Windows too: http://4u3u.spaces.live.com/blog/cns...7B5E!258.entry -- Alexander Suhovey "Austin" <Austin@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:03F9E922-DFA4-4F35-9F08-8C83577040B0@microsoft.com... > What if we have servers on multiple domains? > > Are you saying we have to train all of our users on what server is in what > domain? | | Re: rdp behavior Actually what I would really like is for it to connect to the server and to be able to put in the login cradentials in the classic style. User Name Password Domain And to not save anything like this Vista version does. it has the administrator domain\loginname saved now.
