Vista - Taskbar button not flashing

Actually so far, this is only happening with Windows Live Messenger.

When I get a new message, the taskbar button should be flashing, to notify
me of that. But it's not, I've tried several versions of Live Messenger and
they all seem to have that problem. Other applications (that I've tested so
far) function just fine.

Is there a way to fix this or is this a bug in Live Messenger?

Works fine for me (just to tell you that it's not a problem with the actual
program itself.

Yeah, I was able to test out some things and it seems that a plugin for
Messenger (Messenger Plus! to be exact) was causing it when using tabbed
chats.
