I'm using the programs from the recently used section as well as the pinned
section. Doesn't seem to make a difference. When they quit responding, they
all quit.
As to the other posts: I removed and reinstalled my applications.
Microsoft Office 2007 final release. They work from the sections just fine
for about 3 days then quit. That's the reason for my plea for help from
someone who might know what is stopping the "shortcut" in the recently used
and pinned sections from working. I can take the shortcut from either
section and drag and drop it to the quick launch bar and it works. Dragging
it back doesn't make it work.
There has to be something in Vista that won't allow the shortcut to work
after a few uses.
I am using Windows Vista Enterprise edition. I am affiliated with a
University as an instructor, and all faculty must now be using this OS.
There is nothing on my computer now except for Windows Vista final release
for educational institutions, and the final release for MS Office 2007.
Same problem. If I knew how to get to Microsoft development on Vista
directly, and thought I could actually communicate with them, I would do so.
Your forum is my only resource. By the way, there are 13 other faculty
members who are experiencing the same problem, not just myself.
