| | Context menu item problem in Vista Installing new apps in Vista RTM, I have noticed a couple of instances so far where there is a problem with entries not be added to the (right-click) context menu in cases where they were always automatically added for me in Windows XP. One such app is ImgBurn, which always had a "Burn image with ImgBurn" (or somesuch) context menu entry for selection when I right-clicked on an image file. The second such app is IZarc, which would put several entries (that could be individually chosen from the program's options\configuration settings) in the context menu. On my box running Vista Business RTM, I got the items to display by deselecting the option to show the entries in a submenu. But on my box running Vista Ultimate RTM, I cannot get them to show at all. Does anyone know what's going on here? Is this a known issue with Vista, or an issue with the specific apps? |

| | Re: Context menu item problem in Vista Just came across a third app that fails to put entries in the right-click context menu during installation: OpenExpert. And this particular app *depends* on having context menu entries for its functionality. ![]() Daze N. Knights wrote: > > Nope. 32. > > Synapse Syndrome wrote: >> "Daze N.
