| | Virtual CD The Virtual CDROM driver that M$ had on it's download site won't work with Vista. Besides having to buy and use Alchol (the program - not the drink), ISOBuster, etc - does anyone know of any free tools to treat and ISO as a drive? |

There is a free version of Alchohol that works with Vista. The free edition, called Alcohol 52% can be downloaded at http://www.free-downloads.net/progra...__Free_Edition. -- Tom Porterfield |

| | Re: Virtual CD To be honest Synapse, it never worked for me either. Even in XP i always found it a pain. in the end, with XP, i had to resort to deamon tools. Whether deamon works with Vista though, i couldn't say, not having tried it. I always burn the ISO's to DVD. -- John Barnett MVP Associate Expert Windows Shell/User Web: http://xphelpandsupport.mvps.org Web: http://vistasupport.mvps.org The information in this mail/post is supplied "as is".
