Switch between windows

Vista's Switch Between Windows feature (under Aero) is fabulous but I would
like to put this function on a shortcut key on my keyboard but I don't know
the name of the program that executes this function. Can anyone tell me the
name of the exe and where I can find it? Cheers.

Re: Switch between windows

if youre talking about ALT + TAB this has always existed... and there was a
powertoy that made the display look like the vista one for a long time
now...

If you have a Windows key on your keyboard, winkey + tab should already do
it.

Re: Switch between windows

Flip 3D is Win+Tab and Alt+Tab allows you to navigate among all open
windows.

Here are some other shortcut keys:

Re: Switch between windows

Hello,

Launching the shortcut that exists here should do the trick:

"C:\Users\%USER%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick
Launch\Window Switcher.lnk"

Where you put your user account name where %USER% is. You can copy this path
to the clipboard by holding down shift and right-clicking the icon for
"Switch between windows" next to the start button, and then clicking Copy As
Path.

Re: Switch between windows

I prefer to use the Flip 3D button that is built-in at the quick launch box
(switch between windows) & then use the arrow key depending which way i want
the stack to flip.

When the PROnetworks.org Tweak & Customizing Guide comes out in the next
week or 2 there are some tweaks for this too, including making the Flip 3D go
in slow motion.

RE: Switch between windows

Great Feature!

I'd just love to set my middle mouse button to lauch "switch between
windows". Is it possible? I right click on the shortcut icon& properties, but
it doesn't let me put a shortcut key.

Thank you by advance

Vista rocks.

Re: Switch between windows

The windows key + tab is pretty nice, but using a Mac at work all day hitting
F9, F10 or F11 to do those same things is pretty nice.

Either way, this is pretty sweet.

I have a Logitech MX Revolution Mouse( Logitech Experience > Advanced Peripherals > Logitech® MX™ Revolution )

The Thumbside scroll wheel defaults to "Switch between Windows" scrolling.

As soon as you roll it forward or backward you go into "SBW" mode and can scroll through the windows.

The Thumb scroll isnt a free turning wheel, its "Push/Pull" senstive.
