Vista Tutorial - Vista / WMDC / WM 2003 Sync

Hello,

I'm having difficulty setting up a Windows Mobile 2003 device to sync
email/calendar/contacts with Windows Mobile Device Center (WMDC) on Windows
Vista.

When I connect the device via USB, Vista sees the device and installs the
driver for it. However, the Sync Center does not allow a creation of a sync
partnership and links to the Windows Mobile Device Center only brings up
WMDC Connection settings. I cannot reach the WMDC home screen which allows
configuring email/calendar/contacts sync.

Runing Windows Update and selecting Check for updates results in "No new
updates are available for your computer".

Any tips are appreciated!

Has the released version of WMDC shipped? Thanks for the URL but the Beta 3
version of WMDC crashes when run on my RTM Windows Vista.

Does anybody know when the released version of WMDC will be available via
Windows Update?
