| | Multi-boot on Vista + XP Today, I install XP Pro in my Vista notebook. Of course I install XP in different partition, support I can multi-boot in boot-up time. Strange, after install XP Pro in drive D:, no boot up menu display to choose OS boot up. After checked boot.ini, I can't found any statement about Vista. How to recover the Vista and multi-boot up? Kindly advice. Alexander Brown |

| | Re: Multi-boot on Vista + XP When dual booting you really need to install the oldest operating system, i.e., XP onto the computer first. Doing it the other way round can cause problems. Microsoft always advise that in a dual boot situation oldest first, newest last. However, you might try inserting you might try doing a startup repair.
