| | Screen Saver Won't Span Dual Monitors Using Vista Beta 2 and an ATI Radeon 9800 Pro with WDDM drivers I have monitors connect to the DVI and VGA ports. The VGA is an extended desktop and the DVI is primary. When the screen saver activates it blanks my DVI monitor and shows up fine on the VGA. Any idea how I can make the saver appear on both screens? Power settings are all disabled. Thanks, SC |

| | Re: Screen Saver Won't Span Dual Monitors I have a question for you. Does the taskbar extend to the secondary monitor too? Vista was supposed to have this feature, without using a third party application (like the nvidia drivers that give this function or ultramon) "sc123" <sc123@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:E24F65BA-3690-45C4-B0BB-13F84ADBBB19@microsoft.com... > Using Vista Beta 2 and an ATI Radeon 9800 Pro with WDDM drivers I have > monitors connect to the DVI and VGA ports. | | Re: Screen Saver Won't Span Dual Monitors Wow - you know ALL of them work on both monitors EXCEPT the one I tried - "Windows Energy". Strange. Thanks for the tip. -SC "John Jay Smith" wrote: > it should work normally with the simple flag vista screensaver.. it works on > xp > > "sc123" <sc123@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message > news:8CDCD61F-076C-43AD-9720-95706A36AC5F@microsoft.com... > > John: > > Thanks, but I'm looking for a way to do it within Vista itself..if > > there > > is one. > > -SC > > > > "John Jay Smith" wrote: > > > >> try ultramon then www.ultramon.com it has options for having > >> screensavers > >> on any monitor even different screensavers on each. > >> > >> > >> "sc123" <sc123@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message > >> news:83F783F6-ED0A-4C22-B759-8581C4999165@microsoft.com... > >> > John: > >> > No, it does not. > >> > -SC > >> > > >> > "John Jay Smith" wrote: > >> > > >> >> I have a question for you.
