| | Windows Service Timeout in Vista Hi, I wrote a windows service on a Windows XP machine which worked well on text. Prior to deployment to my client's site, I formatted my system and installed Windows Vista Ultimate edition. This same services refuses to start and always returns a timeout error message "Error 1053: The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion". What could be wrong? |
