| | Text Disappears On Mouse Enter or Mouse Leave Has anyone seen this behavior before? If I create a simple Windows Forms application with a TextBox, with at least one Scrollbar, inside a SpitContainer, on a TabPage, the text disappears when the mouse enters or leaves the TextBox. It does not occur if the Scrollbar, SpitContainer, or TabPage are missing. I can reproduce this in a simple test application that is constructed entirely in the designer within Visual Studio, with not one line of code written by me. It happens on a machine with insufficient graphics to run the fancy graphics features of Aero, and only if I use the "Windows Vista Basic" theme, rather than the "Windows Classic" or "Windows Standard". I do not have another Vista system on which to test my application, so I do not know if this will occur on a system with better graphics. A work-around is to call TextBox.Invalidate() on MouseEnter and MouseLeave, but this solution is not entirely satisfactory. Has anyone seen this? |
