Use shears to trim the plastic record so it fits in the floppy drive.

You guys are not going back far enough......it's the 8" IBM floppy drive : p

So he will need two of the "record"s for this to work...

In that case put the DVD in the microwave for 45 seconds until its bubbly.
Then use a rolling pin (Reynolds's nonstick foil helps) to flatten it to the
8 inch size. Make sure not to touch the underside when you are doing this.
