RE: CPPers Unite

To all I say "thank you" I had a simple question and got responses ranging
from inane to articulate. Colin + Chris you guys gave me the most to think
about, for that, a special shout out. DOM - Man I gotta tell ya For all the
time and expense MSFT has cost me. I just can't in good conscience, give MSFT
anything more than my opinion. As stated before, I am an avid LINUX user and
perhaps spoiled by the open source concept. My way of saying thanks is
supporting the Distros I use (monetary - technical) The chance to participate
in the CPP was fun and enlightening. And would have no problem telling anyone
that if they have a few hundred pesos to waste. Go get Vista. but would add
that you have to put out some effort to learn and don't forget that, to get
the best performance, your hardware will have to be up to the task. Odd
except for the pesos and Hardware thats the same advice I give people that
want to try LINUX. If that sounds like I'm anti M$ you would be wrong, I like
and use XP (Aero theme). Now if I didn't need to know windows for work..well
who knows..OH wait..
Thank You Microsoft...for helping me realize that there is more to my "box"
then Authentication - DRM - RFM. See my box is truly mine It may run Dream
Linux-PCLOS-BSD-Solaris. And thats my choice. Costs = a CD and a
Download...HMMM. That doesn't seem quite fair. Alas whats fair to one is
unfair to another.
