Vista - Anyone use Spy Sweeper?

From the latest issue Spy Sweeper News:

What Vista Means to Webroot Customers
Microsoft's new operating system, Windows Vista, is due to launch at the end of January. While
Windows Vista does offer security enhancements, it does not offer complete protection against
spyware and viruses. Webroot recommends that consumers use a proven anti-malware solution to protect
PCs against spyware and viruses.

For Webroot customers who purchased Spy Sweeper® or Spy Sweeper with AntiVirus® before the official
release of Windows Vista, they will be entitled to a FREE upgrade to our Vista-supported versions of
the software as long as your subscription is valid.

And they give absolutely no time frame as to when it will be ready.

This is what I just received from Webroot support:
" We will be releasing the Vista compatible version of Spy Sweeper on
Jan. 29th to coincide with the consumer release of Microsoft Windows
Vista. "

Don't know the corresponding status of the associated anti-virus (by
Sophos) option.

Can not imagine why "Webroot recommends that consumers use" third party
applications sold by Webroot (above quotation taken from your Post).

One of these days folks will understand truth.
