Proxy and vista

Hello,
I try to use vista, but Vista need an internet connexion for a lot of
applications.
I use a proxy. In ie 7, it works fine, but for vista (activation and windows
update, the helps...) it does'nt work... Vista let me configure rtc or adsl
but not proxy.
So how can i do ?

Thanks

RE: Proxy and vista

if basic authentication is enabled thru proxy server you might experience
this issue.
So in proxy server exclude the URLs for the CRLs from the requirement for
Basic authentication.
try that
will it helps?

Thank you for your reply,
there is no authentification in my proxy.
Where do I set parameters for my proxy ? Just in the internet configuration
of ie 7 ?

RE: Proxy and vista

Finally,
vista does'nt want to connect to internet with the automatic configuration
script but he does with the proxy server adress.
I try in windows XP and this is the same problem.

Isn't it a bug ?
