Can't begin install

I just burned Vista to a DVD, and when I try to install it, it reads it as a
blank disc, and asks me if I want to burn something on it. When I check the
E Drive, it shows the file, and when I click on it, it does nothing.

It shows what file? If it shows the ISO file, then you didn't burn the DVD
properly. You can't simply burn the ISO file to a DVD. You must use a
program like Easy CD Creator or Nero which can recognize that the file is a
disk image and then use its special capability to burn it. When you get
done, you'll have a disk with individual folders and files including an
AUTORUN that will launch Setup.

Re: Can't begin install

You have to open the ISO into your burning software.

Burning the ISO Image in NERO and Roxio Easy CD Creator:
NERO
Insert a Blank DVD, open Nero StartSmart > change the media type to DVD >
select Copy and Backup > click "Burn Image to Disc" > navigate to where the
Windows Vista BETA 2 Image is stored on your hard disk, (note: if you don't
see it, make sure the image file type is changed to ISO" click Open and the
burning wizard will automatically start.

Roxio
Open Creator Classic > click File > "Record Disc from Image" > navigate to
where the Windows Vista BETA 2 Image is stored >click Open and the burning
wizard will automatically start.

Ensure that the ISO burns at a low speed, recommended speed, 2x for best
results.
