Touch screen capailities

Hi

I just learned that Vista has some touch screen capabilities

Can anyone explain what is actually new about it considering that you need a
touch screen

Thank you,
Samuel

The extra capabilities have also appeared on my desktop workstation when I
plugged in my Wacom Intuos graphics tablet.

You get a little tab on the left part of the screen that can be dragged up
and down. If you pull it out, you get a resizable window that has three
different modes as shown in the screenshots below.

The keyboard also shows on the log in screen whenever you are there.

Two more Windows apps appear in the Start Menu: Sticky Notes and Windows
Journal. Both of these apps together have quite a lot of the functionality
of Windows OneNote (I'd say like comparing Wordpad with Word).

There is also a folder called TabletPC with some icons for handwriting
recognition training and PenFlicks (like mouse gestures).
