Vista - Thr truth as I see it

Win XP was introduced, it had bugs, we waited for a year the most peeps
installed it. Now all you guys who just got to have the latest with Beta it
for us and in a years time we will have Vista and wonder what all the fuss
as about. Just wait my children, one year, it will be cheaper and it will
work just like Win XP.

The price is unlikely to change any significant amount until the next
version of Windows is around the corner.

I totally agree with Joe. After finally getting XP To run well on
my machine with the most recent patches, antiviruses and Anti
spyware...not to mention all my games and application run great, I am
not going to start all over again with a new OS.With Vista, New
problems and new incompatibilities with games and applications are a
certainty. Big Companies are even more Weary as they must spend an
enourmous amount of time, effort and money to rebuild everything
over. MS Just wants more $$$ people. Vista looks nice, its pretty but
with window blinds you can change your computers look without a new
OS. As for security...I have the latest patches with windows security
center all enabled and that's fine for me. Unless your in the
military with a buttons push away from Armageddon... no more security
is really needed. -Sam

I am sorry to hear you are having a poor experience with Vista. Mine has
been much better. I remember how XP Gold was and Vista Gold is far better.

Cheaper... Maybe. XP had bugs and was much worse that Vista is now.
However, if XP was that good, imagine if Vista is better than XP and how
much it can improve.

I like Vista, and think it is a much better OS than XP out of the box.
