Vista - playing divx movies in windows media centre

At the moment I am running RC2 (I have the full retail version sitting on my
desk ready to be installed) and I am having small problems with playing divx
films in windows media player. I used to have divx player bundle 6.4 on my
system, but I removed it as it was not working too well. I have just moved
over to XviD 1.1.2-01112006. As a whole it works a LOT better than the divx
player bundle 6.4, but I still get an error now and then that requires media
centre to restart.
I do not know if it is because I am not running the final version of
windows. I wondered if anyone who has the final version of windows and plays
divx movies in media centre without any problems.
I am going to install the final version of windows soon. I would just like
to wait till zonelabs bring out a windows vista compliant version of zone
alarm out.

Any help or advice would be gratefully accepted.
