Vista - Error code 80072EE6 when trying to use Windows Update in Vista Bus

Please help. I am at the end of my tether in this problem.

I have been trying to get the Windows Update Service to run on Windows Vista
Business Edition with complete failure on every attempt.

When searching numerous forums, and MS Tech Supp Sites, all I get (closest)
is an error that refers to letting the information through the firewall
(Error reference 80072EE2), but I have switched the firewall off and still
get this error.

I have re-registered all of the required DLLs for the service and it still
fails - Any ideas?

That could be a tough one, I would look in the WU log and see if you can find
where the error code is coming from...

The log makes reference to my server and it seems that it thinks that my
server has WSUS installed, which it does not. (It is running SBS2003Std)

How can I change this to allow direct updates to the web?

SBS 2003 "R2" includes WSUS... are you sure you don't have it
installed?
