Keep User Display Settings Still an Issue in Vista?...

Just wondering if there is a fix to retain screen res settings when
switching users.

Thanks

I am having the same problem. XP would allow you to have different display
settings for each user. Can't believe they took this away. This is very
eritating since I need the screen at 800 X 600 on a 19" monitor for one of my
users. Anyone have any ideas. It would be greatly appreaciated!

Actually XP does not allow you to have different resolutions per user.
There is a third-party utility written by MVP Doug Knox that provides
that ability in XP. I don't know if Doug's utility would work in Vista.

I had a vague memory that Vista was supposed to support different
resolutions by user but a quick search doesn't back that up. Someone
else will need to confirm/deny that.
