| | vista and itunes and limewire since i've installed vista, it has gotten rid of all of my limewire songs, and on my itunes i can't play any songs that i've purchased or downloaded. on songs that i've purchased, it tells me that i am not authorized to and asks for my password, which i put in and does nothing. also when i updated my ipod, it took my movies and about 90% of my songs off of it. does anybody have any suggestions? Thanks. Ron |

| | Re: vista and itunes and limewire Oh good, I'm glad that I wasn't the only person with this problem. I'm also having trouble with my authorization, but since you said that updating your iPod deleted your music off, then I will wait on that. I'm guessing we are going to have to wait until Apple comes up with a new version of iTunes that is compatible with Vista, and I hope they do it soon. Right click on the iTunes icon, and choose 'properties', then set iTunes to run in Windows 98 compatibility mode. That will let you play your purchased and downloaded music, as well as sync your iPod. You will, however, notice poor performance on the 3D album art panel. |
