| | Anytime Upgrade in the UK Just downloaded my licence of Windows Vista Business edition from MSDN, can anyone tell me when i can upgrade it to Ultimate edition via Anytime Upgrade? Why are people outside the US being shafted for access!? |

There is a restriction on the Anytime Upgrade license, it can only be transferred once. Microsoft use an IP address check to see what country you're in. Simply change your internet settings to use a USA based open proxy server and MS site thinks you're in the USA. I used 70.91.15.203:80 If you've got one of the Anytime Upgrade DVDs or can get hold of one, just buy your key off the site. If anyone can confirm that the MSDN/MAPS Vista Business Edition DVD contains all versions as per retail disks, that'd be a help. -- Conor Light travels faster than sound.
