| | My contacts vs. address book If anyone has figured this out, please share with me: Problem 1) There is no autocomplete in outlook. It worked perfectly in 2003 version. Instead of going to contacts for the info, it goes to address book and nothing is there. I have only spent a hour on vista but it is maddening to me so far. Probelm 2) Everything looks different in Outlook, I can't figure it out, the type is smaller, everything is off and I don't know what to do to get it back. All of the fonts looks different and now it hurts my eyes. I am using the same monitor as before so ?<&*%$#@ UGH Thanks for your help. I get to pull my hair out more tomorrow. Sandra -- Sandra |

Good, knowledgeable folks there. Look at the newsgroups under microsoft.public.outlook. -- Rock [MVP - User/Shell] |

For MS apps for which there are separate newsgroups, those newsgroups are agnostic when it comes to the underlying OS. So Outlook issues, whether Vista or XP, go to the outlook newsgroup, same with internet explorer issues. Sometimes it is an OS issue so Crossposting might be appropriate, but in general just because it's running on vista when the issue happens doesn't mean it belongs in the Vista OS newsgroup. Loll, it takes a bit of time and experience to know which is the best newsgroup for certain issues. Good luck. -- Rock [MVP - User/Shell] |
