Vista - Movie maker not working!!!!!!!!!!!!!

regardless of what video i try to edit. it freezzes when i try to "publish",
regardless if i publish to e-mail or this computer! need help!
and, compairing to when i just finished installing vista, moviemaker takes
soooooooo much more time to start!!!

Do you have an nVidia graphics card?

What time of file are the source videos?

X1950XT with catlyst 7.1
i tryed many many video sources, none of them have diffrent problems and
none worked. they all crashe in the same place.

Have you installed any other software on the system which has something to
do with video or audio?

Try going to Tools -> Options -> Compatibility and unchecking any 3rd party
codecs that have been installed.
