Vista - Test why aren't my posts getting thru?

I've sent a number of posts to this group over the last couple weeks and
none of them ever show up! Is there a membership requirement?

This is a high-traffic newsgroup, and the default in Windows Mail is to
limit the number of headers downloaded. If you're not updating every few
hours, you may be missing some posts. Here's the remedy:

In Windows Mail,

Tools -> Options -> 'Read' tab

Under 'News', clear the checkbox for 'Get xxx headers at a time'. This
allows Windows Mail to get as many new messages as there may be, not just a
set amount.
