Toshiba Tecra M4 crashes after it goes to sleep

Hi

I have a tablet PC with the latest Toshiba Bios for Vista, Vista Ultimate
installed, and when I select the sleep mode, the screen goes off, the
machine is still running, and it never goes to sleep, or comes back either.

I've seen everyone who had Toshiba M4 or M& on the internet complain about
that, and we were expecting the issue solved after Toshiba releases their
new drivers and Bios.

Well, Vista has been officially released, Toshiba released some drivers, but
the problem is still there.

That stupid machine or vista just does not go to sleep.

If anyone had a similar problem, and how can I fix it.

And a question for Microsoft, why did you change the way a computer goes to
sleep in Vista? It was working well XP, why do you change something that is
working well? Why don't you just let it be?

I understand changing the UI for example; it is nicer than XP, but sleep!!!
Is sleep, I wouldn't complain if there was nice stripers introduced to the
sleep mode, or something else new, but it is the same as XP, nothing new;
well except that it does not work :-)
