Failure redirecting Documents and Music Start Menu Folders

Novice. Unable to redirect these 2 folders to D partition. Then, when
attempting to restore to the original location I get a "Folder Redirect
Failure" dialog box stating "Failed to build the list of regular subfolders
under D:\System Volume Information" How do I reset to the original state?

RE: Failure redirecting Documents and Music Start Menu Folders

Hi Ty,

You might want to try the easy way: go to System Restore and restore to a
date/time right before you re-directed the Documents folder. Or you could try
right-clicking on the Documents folder, choose "Properties", click on the
"Location" tab and enter the default path of "C:\Users\username\Documents"
(no quotes and substitute "username" for whatever your username is).
