Group Taskbar Buttons

I do not seem to be able to figure out how to group similar taskbar buttons
on the taskbar. The function is selected in Start Menu Properties yet when I
have 2+ browser windows minimized each instance shows as a separate button.
Am I missing something ? Thank you.

It doesn't do it for me until the taskbar fills up.

Re: Group Taskbar Buttons

Try it at the control panel or right clicking desktop >Appearances and
Personalization.

1. Open Taskbar and Start Menu Properties by clicking the Start button
, clicking Control Panel, clicking Appearance and Personalization, and then
clicking Taskbar and Start Menu.

2. Select the Group similar taskbar buttons check box so that
it is checked. (To turn off grouping, clear the Group similar taskbar
buttons check box.)
