MAD as HELL and not gonna take it any more ;-))

computer is up 24/7
running Vista Ultimate 64 bit RTM

it just runs and runs and runs.
no burps, coughs, crashes, bsods.

what a mess.
its like running a data center.
I have to FORMALLY SCHEDULE down time to be able to do maintenance.

use to depend on XP Pro X-64 crashing occasionally to be able to do maintenance.

I have the same problem. We need a fix on this so I can keep a full time
job!

Glad that it works for you...
but you can't really judge an OS properly unless you've run it
for a few years.

I've been dual booting XP and Linux for quite a few years now...
and neither OS has ever crashed yet.
Not sure how one can beat that???

See the thread entitled "Disappointed" by XP_pro_lover. To use your
sexual analogy, it didn't get it up for him.

We can get you some "joke" software to mess things up and shut it down once
in a while.

I understand Richard has that "fix" stashed somewhere on one of his four
hard drives, just waiting for an emergency such as this.

Re: MAD as HELL and not gonna take it any more ;-))

I don't know about the 64 bit, but I can crash the 32 bit by installing Virtual PC 2007. But only the beta version and not the CTP version since that one works just fine.

I installed Virtual PC 2007 on Vista 32-bit without any issues . . .
