Vista - Nero 6

For those who keep having Nero problems, I am using Nero 6 on Vista with no
problems other than a warning when it starts. Weird, since most people seem
to be having problems with the version that is supposed to be Vista ready.
I just created my Ubuntu installation disk with it.

Yep Dale--me too. I've been posting all along that I use Nero 6 + (whatever
includes the latest updates) just fine with Vista--every build through RTM.
I know that now there is a 7.yadayada that works pretty well but from what
I've read about its features, I hardly need it.

But you can't run ImageFile, right?

I burned a Ubuntu live disk from an ISO. I create data disks to copy MP3s
to for use in my truck. That's about all I ever did with a CD burner
anyway.

I've been using Nero 6 in every build from Beta 2, x86 and x64. Just use
the full Burning Rom, not Express or StartSmart ;-)

You mean ImageDrive? I wish they would get this working again.

"virtual clone drive" is free and runs under vista, works the same way.

Also the latest Nero 7 plus online Update applied to it makes N7 full vista
ready.

You do if you want to run Nero on Vista

Which online update are you referring to? You mean there is a Windows
Update for the latest version (7.7.5.1) of Nero? Why didn't Ahead just put
the update into the Nero installer itself? DriveImage now works?
