Missing Recycle Bin

It's vanished. I don't know where it is.

But I managed to put a shortcut on the desktop meanwhile

Re: Missing Recycle Bin

1. Click on Vista's blue Start button and then click on "Help and Support".
2. Type RECYCLE BIN in the Search box, press the Enter key.
3. Click on "Show or hide the Recycle Bin".
4. Follow the self-help instructions.

Re: Missing Recycle Bin

You probably right-clicked on the Recycle Bin and
inadvertently selected "delete". It happened to me
recently, too.

Re: Missing Recycle Bin

Right . . . Delete rather than Empty. Yeah, that explains it.

Re: Missing Recycle Bin

You had me scratching me head :-)

Yeah, I just added HELP to the Start screen. Never used it much in XP

Re: Missing Recycle Bin

Bill:
You're not the first one to delete the recycle bin instead of
emptying it. Carey's suggestion puts it back until it's deleted again. Have
a great day.
