| | Re: Vista bug... Try this! Yes, I see what you are talking about. It is so subtle however that it took me quite a bit of time to find it. This is a kind of minor bugs that can sit there unnoticed for years. Like another one that was recently reported on russian Vista newsgroup: While you are still in Device Manager window (or in any MMC console window for that matter), click View, select Customize. Now, try to close Customize View window using red X button. It just won't close. You can try to do same on XP but I'll tell you it doesn't work there either. -- Alexander Suhovey "mhajii210" <mhajii210@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:7E3787DB-AF5D-4A3A-BB23-720766021D9C@microsoft.com... > Soyo SY-P4I865PE Plus DRAGON 2 motherboard > Intel Pentium 4 3.20 GHZ HT > 2×1024MB pc3200 PNY RAM > Windows Vista Home Premium > PNY GeForce 7800 GS 8x AGP, 256MB (97.46 ForceWare) > PCI Creative X-Fi XtremeMusic > LG Flatron L1920P lcd monitor > > Hey guys found another bug. | | Re: Vista bug... Try this! I wouldn't consider that to be a bug. In XP (not using vista here) there is a clickalbe button at the bottom on the right saying "Ok" (in the english version). Logically this would be because if you don't want to change the view.... just don't change anything and press Ok. And for that X, it's grayed out actually and that's it's not 'working'. | | Re: Vista bug... Try this! OK, what if you changed some settings but then changed your mind and... duh, you don't remember initial settings? Uh.. and where's Cancel button by the way? It is a bug though minor one. If there's no function for a button there should be NO button. If there's a button that has a well known function and it's not working, it is a bug. Dimmed button in XP, OK, I'll give you that, probably that saves it from being called a bug but in Vista... well, why it's not at lest dimmed as in XP? -- Alexander Suhovey "Sebastiaan" <usul_atreides@hotmail.spam.no.com> wrote in message news:uawPF9PSHHA.4076@TK2MSFTNGP05.phx.gbl... >I wouldn't consider that to be a bug. > > In XP (not using vista here) there is a clickalbe button at the bottom on > the right saying "Ok" (in the english version). > Logically this would be because if you don't want to change the view.... > just don't change anything and press Ok. > > And for that X, it's grayed out actually and that's it's not 'working'. > > > Sebastiaan Tigchelaar > > > > "Alexander Suhovey" <asuhovey@gmail.com> wrote in message > news:%23tZskgPSHHA.2228@TK2MSFTNGP03.phx.gbl... >> Yes, I see what you are talking about.
