Are Globespan based ADSL USB modems supported in Vista?

I have an Globespan based ADSL USB modem, but I have an old driver (not
signed) for Windows XP and no new drivers are avaible. Do you know if I can
install old driver on Vista? Or Vista has built-it drivers?

Its best you contact the manufacturer of the device about Vista support.

RE: Are Globespan based ADSL USB modems supported in Vista?

run the upgrade advisor on windows XP, and it will check to see if drivers
are available for all of your devices (it only checks for 32 bit drivers,
though, so if you're planning on installing the x64 version of vista, you
need to contact the manufacturer.)

today I've installed Windows Vista beta 2 and I'm very surprised that my very
old unsigned windows xp driver for my ADSL USB modem still works in Vista!

In the connection the modem has not been selected ("null" with an error or
similar), but I choosen the right modem from the list and it works fine.
