Vista - ICON question in VISTA ULTIMATE

Suddenly my icons (large) under "view" "large icons" no longer display the
actual pictures in the folder as small icons instead it just display some JPG
logo and no pictures.

What happened? How can I get back to it showing the actual pictures in the
folder? How do I keep this from happening again?

Interesting, Dave. I haven't heard of this one, but I'd try system restore
points.

I'd also run SFC from an elevated cmd prompt. Windows key + r and type in
command>Hold CTRL+SHIFT on your keyboard and then press Enter. Type sfc
/scannow at the command prompt.

Click on Organize/Folder and Search Options/View Tab. Make sure that the
"Always show icons, never thumbnails" option is NOT selected.
