Vista and Norton Antivirus Uninstall

I've installed Vista but am unable to install a compatible antivirus because
Norton Antivirus 2006 still resides on the computer (nonfunctional). The
add/remove programs function doesnt work because Norton detects it isnt
compatible and stops the uninstaller. Nortons online tool as well as SymNRT
do not remove the Norton AV files either. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Re: Vista and Norton Antivirus Uninstall

Format the drive and reinstall Vista unless you are up for googling and
messing with Registry which is more likely to even make the situation worst.

Re: Vista and Norton Antivirus Uninstall

Ugh. I was afraid of that. I guess I better get started on the reinstall...

Thank for taking the time to respond.
