I'm not sure why you accuse him of lying. I said essentiality the same

No, Troy McClure is a proven liar and fcukwit, and you never said 'perfect'.
If you think that your Vista machine runs without problems at all, I would
not believe it (minor problems accepted). The current Vista release with
lack of updates is full of bugs and that is a fact. Troy McClure might
actually be too dumb to notice.

For you maybe. Been running Vista RTM x86 Ultimate since November on an
almost 5 y/o PC in a multi-boot with several installations of XP Pro. I
almost never use XP anymore. Vista runs well. The reason to upgrade an OS
should be driven by need.
