Folders not staying as set

    Folders not staying as set

I set folders to what I like one day, it works all day even if I have to
reboot. Next morning, they are back the way they were and have to be reset
again. One particular folder only shows names, others display with extra
large icons in a quarter panel etc so it is annoying to say the least.

So, before I apply it, does anyone know if BAGS8000 works on Vista? I assume
it is something like this again. Thanks.

Don't believe it's directly an issue with the BagMRU count. I've got a
Vista setup that frequently forgets "Certain" folder settings. Most times
it's Control Panel. On occasion it reverts from Medium Size icons to
a details view. Certain others just won't retain Placement/Sizing, such
as the Search and a few utility applets.

Actually my Vista instance is a "Fresh" install. I don't really care about
some of the Windows not retaining - But Control Panel changing size
and View type gets to be a pain as you never know what it will look
like the next time you call it up.

Are we talking about making all folders the same?

I am talking about any old folder. Change the view today. Tomorrow it will
    be different.
