Vista - Sony Ericsson P990i software

Hi there,

Anyone got this working yet PC_Suite_for_Smartphones_1.2.15

Is this yet another compatibility issue?

Unless the manufacturer has said it's Vista compatible, it's probably not.
Have you asked them?

Hi there,

Asking Sony is like asking Microsoft it can take a while hence asking here
if anyone has got it working?

But I have gleaned from the Esato forums that there is a work around for now
hopefully Sony will get it together in the comings weeks or months.

Not sure about that particular phone but I have the Sony Ericsson PC Suite
for the k750i. It might be the same software. Probably is. Anyway no, it
does not work.
I did email Sony and their response was "we have no problems in the near
future to make a Vista version".
Okay Vista is new and they may need a little time but they better pull their
socks up soon. If people start hearing their software does not work on
Vista they may lose sales. It only takes one small thing for people to
switch companies.
