Vista - Adding Favourites to IE7

When trying to add a website as a favourite i get an "unspecified error"
message and is not added, does anybody know a solution for this?

I haven't had this problem, but if you go to your "C" drive and then to the
"Users" folder, then to your user name (I will assume it is "Johnty") you
will find a folder called "Favorites". You can drag the url from IE into this
folder and it should become one of your Favorites.

and you are clicking on the "+" at the top of favorites and choosing ADD and then locating a folder to add to or just add to favorites.
do you have any extra tools added to IE, like google tool bar or such things.
if so disable them and see if it helps.
