| | Localized Vista = Language Neutral Vista + MUI ? http://technet2.microsoft.com/Window....mspx?mfr=true Prior to vista, to my knowledge, operating system binary was compiled separately for each of the localized language. But according to the technet article above, starting from vista, the operating system binary & code is developed as language neutral and then the language packs are installed on top of that. If this is true then the following is true also? Vista English Version = Language Neutral OS Binary files + English MUI preinstalled Vista German Version = Language Neutral OS Binary files + German MUI preinstalled |
