Many of the items that come with a new computer are not installed yet. They
place a link to the installer on the desktop hoping you will click on it. If
this is the case, just follow the link to the containing folder and delete
the folder. Then delete the desktop link.
Do this as a last resort if there is no uninstall entry, either in the
containing folder or in the uninstall or change a program area of
Microsoft MVP Windows Shell/User
