| | BUGCHECK Had my Vista Ultimate x64 on all night on a Pentium D 940 with 2Gb RAM and a nVidia 7300LE graphics card running 97.46 driver and when I turned on the monitor the screen was black and nothing was happening with the HDD. I turned it off and in Event Viewer this entry was noted at about 7.30am........ The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x0000009f (0x0000000000000003, 0xfffffa8005a0c5e0, 0xfffffa8005a0c5e0, 0xfffffa800359a400). A dump was saved in: C:\Windows\MEMORY.DMP. Does this make sense to anyone?? |

| | Re: BUGCHECK 0x0000009F: DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE A driver is in an inconsistent or invalid power state. Typically occurs during events that involve power state transitions, such as shutting down, or moving into or out of standby or hibernate mode. http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=315249&sd=RMVP The above KB refers to XP, but similar should apply with Vista. -- Jane, not plain 64 bit enabled :-)Batteries not included.
