A Friendly Warning for those of you Running Windows Long Horn Server Build 6001.

The following is a Public Service Message aimed at Microsoft Connect Beta
Testers, MSDN (Operating Systems Level and Higher) Subscriber's, and
Microsoft Tech Net Plus Subscriber's.

A Friendly Warning: Do Not try to Validate (with WGA) Windows Long Horn
Server Build 6001 Enterprise Edition. Otherwise, you will be left with the
following in the lower right hand corner of the bottom of your screen: (See
Attachment).

Kevin John Panzke (MSDN Operating Systems Level Subscriber).

Haven't done any beta testing have you?
This is normal for any beta product. Duh!

Normal for beta product to say it is NOT genuine?

Kevin;
This is not a MSDN, Longhorn or Server newsgroup.
If you feel you must post this, please post to a relevant newsgroup.

Re: A Friendly Warning for those of you Running Windows Long Horn Server Build 6001.

Again, some useless information in the VISTA forum. How is that USPS Clerks
job going? Haven't had an update in a day or so :-)

I can't see an invite in Connect. I applied for beta testing on Longhorn
website a while ago, but I never heard anything since, I think.

Re: A Friendly Warning for those of you Running Windows Long Horn Server Build 6001.

In that case your not seeing Longhorn Server is normal.
Only the Tech Beta members as well as a few other programs have the access.

The Longhorn Tech Beta really just started a few months ago.
My guess is there will be some ramping up as the Beta progresses.
