| | short primer on adding 2nd drive and setting swap location Vista ultimate installed initially with a single 40gb drive added a 2nd 40 gb drive and vista configured drive automatically, I just created a partition and formatted it when I set this 2nd drive to contain the swap file, it would not boot, would just come up from bios with disk failure, press Ctrl-Alt-Delete when I set 2nd drive to contain 1 of 2 swap files, one on a separate partition of the 1st physical disk and 2nd on the 2nd rive, then vista boots fine. just fyi, in case someone has tried that ![]() |
