Dreamscene

Hi all,

it seems that yesterday vista ultimate owners should have recieved
dreamscene through their windows update page. I'm running an activated
version of vista ultimate x64 on a desktop PC and this download wasn't
availible to me. I've been refreshing the update list all yesterday
and today and it's still not availible. My PC spec if far higher than
the spec needed to run vista and aero with all effects, so that's not
the problem. Is there any one I can contact regarding this? Or is
there a direct download link to get the file from?

Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Dreamscene

It's a 'preview' of dreamscene. I saw it this morning.

I wonder how long it'll be before it gets ripped off so that it can be run
on Home Premium too.

It's a beta version but it runs fine on most machines. From other
forums i've checked it seems the vast majority of ultimate owners have
it on update, so a bit annoyed that I don't. I know it doesn't do
much, but it was one of the perks of going for ultimate - getting
these updates. And being excluded when other ultimate owners now have
it...

Re: Dreamscene

I know this sounds simple but check and make sure it didn't install and you
just didn't notice it.
Right click on desktop, personalise, background. Hit the scroll arrow, see
if windows dream scene content is there. If it is, it's installed, and there
a couple other options there. You can also just browse the computer to any
video files, though a couple (AVI) aren't supported.
