Re: no upgrade disks from moduslink

Hi Rob,

A quote from Moduslink's site:

"The Upgrade Software will ship within approximately 6-8 weeks from the
later of (a) the date your have completed the redemption order requirements
or (b) the applicable language version of the requested Upgrade Software has
been released in your country."

Look at condition (b). 6-8 weeks *after* release in your language. It was
released initially on Jan 30 in the US, that means the earliest anyone
should expect thier copy would be mid-March. If release in your home country
was later, then shipments there would be correspondingly later as well. Not
Modus' fault, nor the OEM, nor Microsoft, in fact they are currently
completely within the expectations that they set.

I have to disagree moduslink has been terrible. I have been tried since
November to get the website to work and all I get when I call is to keep
trying that they are working on fixing the website.

Then it finally accepted my order a couple of weeks ago and now it does
not show up in check order so I had to email them and I am again waiting
for a response.
