If you open windows explorer and select a drive, then on the organize menu select 'folder and search options' then under the 'view' tab click in the "use check boxes to select items". This may help. | | Re: Select Multi Object in (my) computer This issue has been occuring for some users, so take heart that you're not alone! With all explorer windows closed. try exporting & then deleting the following registry key: "HKCU\Software\Classes\Local Settings\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Shell\Bags" Log off & log back on. See if that fixes it. If not, does the same behavior occur under a different user account? If it doesn't, I'd appriciate it if you could send me registry exports of the following keys from the misbehaving account. "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer" "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop" -- Good Luck, Keith Microsoft MVP [Windows XP Shell/User] "Mohammad Reza Farahy" <Mohammad Reza Farahy@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:B1D0BF0D-EB54-402A-A444-C32706DFA962@microsoft.com... > hi > > my name is mohammad and i'm software engineer. i install windows vista and > i > can't select multi objects in (my) computer. i try any way to do it but > can't > find any thing. please help me. |
