| | I want access to ALL my folders anywhere from my PC I dual boot XP/Vista and dont like being prevented from accessing Vista folders (docs, pics, whatever) when I'm in XP. I'm a single PC users and want to disable ALL restrictions to ALL folders throught my Vista installation. Is there some single step method where I can do that instead of fiddling around with sharing/permissions with each individual folder? Thanks. |

Personally I'd put all my data on one partition separate from either OS. -- Scott http://angrykeyboarder.com A: Because it messes up the order in which people normally read text. Q: Why is top-posting such a bad thing? |

Thanks. No. It is not an OS setting. Restrictions are applied at file system level. You will need to grant full access to folders in questions for "Everyone" group to have unrestricted access to them from both operating systems. -- Alexander Suhovey |
